The steam pipe to the engine was removed from the boiler and the rivets holding the smoke box and sight glass to the boiler were drilled out. The screws to hold the sight glass would be easy to fit as it is much the same as the Mamod locomotive however fitting the screws for the smoke box would be a little more difficult.
